PARINGIN,RB- Kabar mengenai korban tenggelam di Desa Murung Jambu membawa berita sedih bahwa korban, Sadina Galang Anugrah, berusia sekitar 12 tahun, telah ditemukan pada, Selasa (8/8/2023).
Anggota Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Balangan dan para relawan yang terlibat dalam upaya pencarian berhasil menemukan korban yang berada dalam keadaan Telah Meninggal Dunia (TMD)
Peristiwa tragis ini terjadi sehari sebelumnya, pada Senin, 7 Agustus 2023, ketika korban tenggelam di Sungai Murung Jambu, Desa Murung Jambu, Rt 02, Kecamatan Paringin Selatan.
Kronologi peristiwa mengungkapkan bahwa korban berenang bersama teman-temannya, namun terbawa arus ke tengah sungai. Keterbatasan kemampuan berenang menyebabkan situasi semakin rumit, meski teman-teman korban berusaha membantu.
Kepala BPBD Balangan, H. Rahmi menyatakan, Pencarian korban merupakan upaya kolaboratif yang melibatkan BPBD, relawan, serta masyarakat setempat.
“Kami merasakan terima kasih atas perhatian dan kerja sama yang telah diberikan selama proses pencarian.”ujarnya.
Dengan ditemukannya korban dalam keadaan TMD, operasi pencarian ini berakhir dengan duka yang mendalam. BPBD Balangan bersama dengan semua pihak yang terlibat berharap agar keluarga korban mendapatkan kekuatan untuk menghadapi situasi ini.(RB Rilis).
