Amuntai, RB – Syakhir Jamil akhirnya terpilih sebagai Ketua Umum Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Utara (HSU) periode 2023-2027.
Terpilihnya Syakir Jamil sebagai Ketua KONI HSU menggantikan Ahmad Barkati setelah melalui proses Musyawarah Olahraga Kabupaten (Musorkab) yang digelar KONI HSU di aula KH.Idham Chalid, Rabu (18/1/2023).
Musorkab secara resmi dibuka Penjabat (Pj) Bupati HSU melalui Plt Kepala Dinas Pemuda Olahraga dan Pariwisata (Disporapar) HSU Asikin Noor, dihadiri perwakilan KONI Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan (Kalsel), Ketua Cabang Olahraga (Cabor) dan jajaran KONI Kabupaten HSU.
Ketua KONI HSU terpilih mengaku bersyukur dan berterima kasih atas segala dukungan dari kawan-kawan yang telah mempercayakan dirinya menjadi Ketua Umum KONI melanjutkan tongkat estafet Ketua KONI sebelumnya Ahmad Barkati.
“Mudah-mudahan kami beserta pengurus baru dapat melanjutkan pembinaan dan meningkatkan prestasi di bidang olahraga sebagaimana pendahulunya, serta perlahan-lahan kami juga akan membenahi kepengurusan yang sudah ada ke depannya,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Disporapar HSU Asikin Noor saat membuka Musorkab memberikan apresiasi kepada jajaran KONI HSU atas kerja melaksanakan kegiatan Musorkab kali ini.
Dirinya berharap pengurus yang terpilih nanti mampu berjuang untuk Kabupaten HSU dengan kerja cepat dan simpel, menghasilkan prestasi.
“Pentingnya sinergi dalam kepengurusan tentunya sangat memengaruhi roda organisasi sehingga tercipta sebuah tim yang kompak dan solid serta memberikan ruang dan kesempatan yang seluas-luasnya kepada generasi muda yang memiliki bakat dan potensi dibidang olahraga untuk berperan, serta dalam menggali dan mengembangkan potensi olahraga prestasi di Kabupaten HSU,” pesannya.
Dirinya berharap melalui musyawarah ini dapat menginventarisir apa yang telah dicapai dan apa yang masih dibutuhkan untuk menuju kondisi yang lebih baik.
Pemkab HSU juga memberikan penghargaan kepada pengurus KONI sebelumnya atas dedikasi dan perjuangan memberikan prestasi dan mengembangkan potensi olahraga prestasi di Kabupaten HSU. (MC HSU)
