Kejurprov Takraw Sarana Pengembangan Atlet.

BANJARMASIN, RB – Pengurus Provinsi (Pengprov) Persatuan Sepak Takraw Indonesia (PSTI) Kalsel resmi menggelar Kejuaraan Provinsi (Kejurprov) pada 27 hingga 30 November 2021.

Gelaran yang dilaksanakan di Gedung SKB Mulawarman Banjarmasin tersebut, diikuti perwakilan 12 PSTI kabupaten atau kota, minus Kabupaten Balangan yang tidak ikut serta karena alasan tidak punya anggaran.

Ketua pelaksana, Zainal Abidin menyampaikan, Kejurprov ini sebagai ajang untuk mengembangkan atlet-atlet berbakat banua menjadi atlet berprestasi.

Selain itu, kata dia, ajang ini juga diharapkan dapat memacu semangat para atlet untuk terus berlatih, yang nantinya disiapkan untuk Kejurprov, KEJURNAS dan PON.

“Ke depan kami dari PSTI KALSEL optimis bisa meraih medali di PON ataupun KEJURNAS nantinya, minimal target kami masuk 4 besar.” tegasnya pada penutupan kejurprov (30/11/21)

Disamping itu, Zainal Abidin, menyampaikan kegiatan ini bertujuan sebagai ajang untuk monitoring dan evaluasi pembinaan atlet sepak takraw yg dilakukan PSTI kabupaten/kota.

“monitoring dan evaluasi PSTI kabupaten/kota salah satunya melalui kejurprov ini” jelasnya.

Terakhir, dirinya berharap,prestasi atlet semakin meningkat dan atlet di Kabupaten/kota didukung oleh pemerintah daerah sehingga pembinaan atlet dapat terus berlanjut.

Sekedar diketahui, perlombaan ini diikuti 12 kabupaten atau kota dengan jumlah 58 regu dari 4 kategori yakni, Senior putra dan putri serta kategori Junior putra dan putri.

Hasil kejuaraan sendiri, Kabupaten Tapin keluar sebagai juara 1 junior putri, Kabupaten Kotabaru sebagai juara 1 junior putra dan kabupaten HSS sebagai juara 1 senior putra dan putri. (Andi/RB)
