PARINGIN, RB – Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Kabupaten Balangan memusnahkan barang bukti (BB) hasil kejahatan berdasarkan putusan pengadilan yang telah mempunyai kekuatan hukum tetap (Inkrah), Kamis (19/9/2024).
Pemusnahan BB hasil kejahatan ini, dipimpin langsung Kepala Kejari Kabupaten Balangan, Mangantar Siregar dan turut melakukan pemusnahan perwakilan Satreskoba Polres Balangan, Hakim dari pengadilan paringin, perwakilan BNN Balangan, serta siswa-siswi SMPN 4 Paringin yang didampingi dewan guru.
Pemusnahan barang haram berupa sabu dan obat terlarang dilakukan dengan memberi cairan deterjen dan diblender, lalu kemudian dilarutkan kedalam closet.
Sedangkan BB alat kejahatan berupa hape, parang dan belati, dihancurkan dengan menggunakan alat pemotong.
BB yang dimusnahkan diantaranya 10,57 gram, 6.234 butir obat daftar G, 11 unit telpon genggam, serta 4 senjata tajam jenis parang dan belati. Bb tersebut merupakan hasil 42 perkara sepanjang bulan Juni hingga Agustus 2024.
Menurut Kepala Kejari Kabupaten Balangan, Mangantar Siregar mengungkapkan, jika pemusnahan BB ini sebagai wujud tanggungjawab setelah menuntaskan kasus yang ditangani. Juga sebagai pertanggungjawaban sekaligus sosialisasi kepada publik.
Dalam pemusnahan tersebut, turut dilakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang bahaya penyalahgunaan narkoba kini juga sudah mengancam usia anak-anak dan remaja.
“Ancaman penyebaran narkoba pada anak-anak sekolah juga harus menjadi perhatian kita untuk pencegahannya. Tindakan pencegahan sangat perlu dilakukan, agar tidak sampai ke tahap penindakan,” tandas Kajari.
Kajari mengimbau kepada semua pihak agar turut berkontribusi mencegah penyalahgunaan narkoba.
“Terutama kepada orangtua, agar tetap mengawasi perilaku anak-anak. Jika di sekolah ada guru yang mengawasi, kita harap di rumah juga terus dipantau orangtua,” pungkasnya. (SA)
