PARINGIN, RB – Tingkatkan daya saing tenaga kerja lokal melalui sertifikasi
Dalam rangka meningkatkan daya saing tenaga kerja lokal melalui sertifikasi, Pemerintah Kabupaten Balangan akan membentuk pusat uji kompetensi.
“Pusat uji kompetensi ini berfungsi sebagai sarana peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kerja lokal, agar berstandar perusahaan,” kata Kepala DPMPTSP Transmigrasi dan Tenaga Kerja Kabupaten Balangan Abiji, usai kunjungan ke Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (BNSP), Kamis.
Dia melanjutkan, standarisasi tenaga kerja tersebut ke depannya berupa standarisasi kompetensi, oleh lembaga sertifikasi yang melibatkan perusahaan-perusahaan.
Abiji menambahkan, dengan bersertifikasi kompetensi berstandar perusahaan, maka tenaga kerja lokal asal Kabupaten Balangan bisa bersaing dan bekerja di perusahaan-perusahaan yang beroperasi di dalam maupun di luar Kabupaten Balangan.
Nantinya, menurut Abji, bagi tenaga kerja lokal yang sudah tersertifikasi berstandar perusahaan akan dibantu dalam perluasan kesempatan kerja melalui kerjasama dengan perusahaan perusahaan yang beroperasional di dalam maupun luar kabupaten balangan.
Ditambahkan, kepala bidang perencanaan dan penempatan tenaga kerja DPMPTS trasmigrasi dan tenaga kerja kabupaten Balangan, Slemetno, untuk kesiapan terhadap pembentukan pusat uji kompetensi ini, dipastikan tahun 2022 mendatang, sudah bisa dioptimalkan fungsi dari pusat uji kompetensi tersebut.
“Tahun depan insyaallah, pusat uji sertifikasi ini sudah berjalan,” jelasnya.
Diketahui, BNSP sendiri merupakan badan independen nasional yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah untuk memberikan sertifikasi kompetensi kerja di Indonesia. BNSP juga langsung bertanggung jawab kepada Presiden.
Selain itu juga, BNSP ini dibentuk juga dalam rangka mendukung meningkatkan kapasitas daya saing secara nasional. (RB)
