Jakarta, RB – Tersangka dalam kasus penyelundupan 360 kilogram (kg) sisik Trenggiling (Manis Javanica) berinisial AF (42 tahun) di Kota Banjarmasin, Provinsi Selatan, diancam pidana penjara hingga lima tahun dan denda maksimal sebesar Rp3,5 miliar karena diduga melanggar Undang-Undang (UU) RI Nomor 6 Tahun 2023 tentang Penetapan Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2022 tentang Cipta Kerja Menjadi Undang-Undang Jo. Pasal 55 Ayat (1) Ke 1 KUHP.
“Berkas perkara tersangka AF dalam kasus penyelundupan 360 kg sisik Trenggiling telah dinyatakan lengkap (P-21) oleh Kejaksaan Tinggi Kalimantan Selatan pada tanggal 12 Juli 2023,” kata Kepala Balai Gakkum KLHK Wilayah Kalimantan David Muhammad dalam keterangan resmi yang diterima InfoPublik pada Minggu (16/7/2023).
Dengan lengkapnya berkas kasus ini, Penyidik Balai Pengamanan dan Penegakan Hukum Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (Gakkum KLHK) Wilayah Kalimantan menyerahkan tersangka AF dan barang bukti kepada Jaksa Penuntut Umum Kejaksaan Tinggi Kalimantan Selatan pada Kamis 13 Juli 2023 lalu.
“AF ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dalam kasus penyelundupan sisik Trenggiling yang terjadi pada tanggal 17 Mei 2023 di komplek Pelabuhan Trisakti Jln. Duyung Raya, Telaga Biru, Kecamatan Banjarmasin Barat, Kota Banjarmasin, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan,” tutur David Muhammad.
Menurut David, kasus ini bermula ketika patroli Tim Penindakan dan Penyidikan Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai Kalbagsel menghentikan dan memeriksa satu mobil angkut Suzuki Carry ST100 bernomor Polisi DA 1680 AB yang sedang melaju ke arah Pelabuhan Trisakti pada Rabu, 17 Mei 2023 sekitar pukul 12.45 WITA.
Tim Patroli kemudian melakukan pemeriksaan dan menemukan delapan kardus berisi sisik Trenggiling yang siap edar dibungkus dengan karung warna putih.
“Berdasarkan keterangan sopir angkut atas nama inisial SR (35) diperoleh informasi bahwa pemilik sisik trenggiling adalah AF (42),” imbuhnya.
Perkara itu lalu dilimpahkan ke Balai Gakkum KLHK Wilayah Kalimantan pada hari yang sama untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.
Hingga kini, Penyidik Balai Gakkum LHK masih melakukan pengembangan terhadap kasus ini untuk mengungkap jaringan penyelundupan dan dalang utama kasus ini.
“Keberhasilan penanganan kasus ini tidak terlepas dari kerjasama dan sinergitas yang telah terjalin dengan baik dengan instansi terkait, khususnya kepada jajaran Kantor Wilayah Direktorat Jenderal Bea dan Cukai Kalbagsel, POLDA Kalimantan Selatan, Polresta Banjarmasin, BKSDA Kalimantan Selatan, dan Kejati Kalimantan Selatan,” kata Kepala Balai Gakkum KLHK Wilayah Kalimantan menandaskan.
