PARINGIN, RB- Kontingen Special Olympics Indonesia (SOIna) Kabupaten Balangan berhasil mengharumkan nama Bumi Sanggam di ajang Pekan Special Olympic Daerah (PeSODa) tingkat Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan (Kalsel) di Banjarbaru.
PeSODa yang digelar selama dua hari tersebut dari tanggal 15-16 November 2022, Kabupaten Balangan berhasil memperoleh mendali satu emas di cabang Lomba Lempar Roket Putri, dan satu perunggu di cabang Renang putra.
Pendamping Kontingen SOIna Balangan Hanida mengatakan, ia membawa enam atlet dengan mengikuti lima cabang lomba PeSODa.
“Kami dari Balangan membawa enam Anak, dengan Cabang Lomba, Bulu Tangkis dua Putra dan Putri, Renang putra satu, Tenis meja Putra satu, Atletik Tolak peluru Putra satu dan Lempar Roket Putri satu,”jelasnya, di Paringin. Kamis (17/11/2022).
Kemudian Nida menyebut, ada dua atlet yang memperoleh medali satu emas Cabang Lomba Lempar Roket Putri, atas nama Della Waty dan satu perunggu di cabang Renang putra yang diraih oleh Ari Yuwanda.
“Tentunya dengan perolehan medali tersebut kami sangat bangga, serta ucapan terimakasih kepada Dispora yang telah mendukung, dan tim pendamping juga pelatih Fauzan beserta tim atas pembinaan yang luar biasa,”ucapnya.
Ia berharap di tahun yang akan datang bisa lebih banyak Cabor yang dapat di ikuti, serta banyak bibit atlet baru dan pihaknya juga akan berusaha mempersiapkan pembinaan untuk kedepannya.(rilis)
