Melihat hal tersebut Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Balangan melalui Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Disdikbud) setempat menerbitkan Surat Edaran (SE) dengan nomor : 420/082/BP.Dikdas/Disdikbud/I/2023, tanggal 11 Januari 2023 kemarin, terkait larangan bermain Lato-lato di lingkup sekolah.
Surat edaran ini ditujukan bagi pengawas pembina TK, SD, dan SMP baik negeri maupun Swasta di Banjarmasin dan juga kepada orangtua para peserta didik.
Kepala Disdikbud Balangan Ribowo, permainan lato-lato dapat memberikan dampak negatif jika dimainkan di sekolah, seperti mengganggu proses belajar mengajar, cedera, hingga kerusakan fasilitas sekolah.
“Dengan SE ini menginstruksikan satuan pendidikan untuk membuat edaran tertulis yang bersifat persuasif kepada siswa untuk melarang membawa permainan lato-lato ke sekolah,” ujar Ribowo, Kamis (12/1/2023).
Dengan dikeluarkannya Surat Edaran tentang pelarangan siswa membawa lato-lato ke sekolah, Ribowo berharap agar setiap orang tua siswa mengawasi anak-anaknya.
“Mengimbau kepada orang tua untuk mengawasi anaknya dan memastikan keamanan anak-anaknya dalam memainkan lato-lato agar tidak membahayakan diri sendiri dan orang lain,” pungkasnya. (shrn)
